  1. The artist, Tracy Yardley is known as a American comic book artist and best known for drawing sonic hedgehog characters. Tracy studied in Savanna College of Art Design and graduated in 2001 for his degree. Tracy has always been interested in comics for his whole life which is the reason why wanted to be part of a comic series. Yardley worked as a penciller on the Archie comics’ Sonic the Hedgehog series from 2005 until the termination of it in 2017. As of now, it is unknown what Tracy is currently working on, but he is well known for his artistry in the sonic comics.

2.There were many different forms of art that were presented by Tracy Yardley and several caught my attention. The drawing had the character face at an angle to where it was looking from a distance. The texture seems to look smooth and rough at certain edges. The painting looked large at a far angle, but if I were to look closer it was quite the opposite. One idea I came up with was that the painting had some dark colors showing that the acne taking place is emphasizing danger.

3. The ideas that I get from this artist is like what brought on their passion for art? Another important idea I’d like to ask is what form of art do you most identify with, if not one, how many? Although I may have not had a conversation with this artist, if I did I first would ask Tracey what it is that makes you enjoy drawing Sonic art. I noticed that the only form of art I have seen is just sonic character, but have you ever considered trying something different? Doesn’t the same type of artstyle become repetitive in the long-run?

4. I can say that some of the artist’s ideas do resonate with me. My ideas in perspective are basically me trying to mimic the artist’s drawing. Yardleys art gives me inspiration in wanting to improve on my own art. I want to be able to create similar sonic characters with different movement gestures. Although his artwork has no relation to my own experience, I really appreciate his work.
